Dr. DeMarco graduated summa cum laude and first in her class from the University of Maryland Dental School. She served as class president and received numerous awards for outstanding academic achievement and leadership. Following graduation, Dr. DeMarco completed an additional year of General Practice Residency Training at the Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan, specializing in hospital dentistry and the care of medically compromised patients. She also practiced as a general dentist for a few years in downtown Washington, D.C., where she developed experience in the prosthetic and periodontal needs of patients, allowing her to provide more complicated adult orthodontic treatment. Dr. DeMarco completed her Orthodontic Specialty Certification and a Master's of Science degree in 1988 at the University of Maryland, where she was awarded the Post Graduate Award for Clinical Excellence. Dr. DeMarco is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and is active in many local and national dental and orthodontic organizations. Dr. DeMarco has been recognized for the past eight years as an Outstanding Orthodontist by Washington Magazine and was recently featured in a Washington Post article on orthodontics.

Dr. DeMarco joined Dr. Levy in orthodontic practice in 1988, where she quickly became involved in local community and dental organizations. In addition, for several years, she taught orthodontics as Assistant Professor of Orthodontics at the University of Maryland Dental School and served as Director of Undergraduate Clinical Orthodontics. Dr. DeMarco's area of interest and expertise include adolescent orthodontics and orthognathic surgical correction of dentofacial deformities. Dr. DeMarco's outstanding qualifications and experience coupled with her genuine interest in her patients and her enthusiasm for orthodontics allow her to provide excellent and caring orthodontic treatment. Dr. DeMarco's obvious commitment to education provides her patients with quality and state-of-the-art care in a comfortable and caring environment.

Dr. DeMarco is the proud mother of Bryan (16) and Alexa (14) and is married to Dr. Leonard Goldman, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, who also practices in Silver Spring. Dr. DeMarco is active in many community and school organizations, including Girl Scouts, sports teams and volunteer groups. Her additional interests include gardening, travel, golf and anything involving her children.
